We are seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, setting up, and configuring HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. You will work with other team members to ensure proper installation and performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems to ensure efficient performance and extend system life.
• Recommend system upgrades or repairs to clients based on analysis and knowledge of equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to emergency service requests, providing quick and effective solutions to HVAC issues.
• Calibrate and test HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new products, and technologies to stay ahead in the field.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining HVAC issues, system maintenance, and product recommendations to clients.
• Ensure all work is documented, including detailed reports of inspections, service calls, repairs, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and assist less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain and organize tools and inventory for efficiency and safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Hear with 100% accuracy with correction.
• See 20/20 vision with correction.
• Stand, crouch, kneel, and walk 10 hours/day.
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, and stoop throughout the entire working shift.
• Have the ability to lift and move items frequently weighing up to 50 pounds, along with the ability to go up and down stairs and ladders.
• Willingness to work in confined spaces, on rooftops, or in other challenging environments.
• Willingness to work in varied weather conditions.
• Reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills are required.

Competencies / Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing both residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and system diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including after-hours emergency services, if necessary.

Preferred:

• Experience with advanced system technologies, such as smart thermostats or energy-efficient HVAC solutions.
• Knowledge of local codes and safety regulations.
